Hockey Fan

Kurt has been doing some bedtime reading with Jude - from the children's classic "Hockey All-Stars" (what, doesn't every parent read that to their baby?). Now it seems Jude has taken up reading it all on his own.

Spring is Coming

Spring is in the air! Even though there is a lot of snow, spring is coming. This past weekend we had a baby shower for Jude and his second cousin, Garret. After scrapbooking for the boys, we went out for a walk by the sugar shack behind Kurt's parent's place. And...the sap is dripping!

Nap Time

For those of you who don't know, up until a few weeks ago nap time for Jude meant screaming until I walked around with him. Even when holding him and rocking him, he would cry and cry. If I laid him down asleep, he would wake up and scream. The only place he would sleep was on me. While this was wonderful and cozy, I needed a break too. But a miracle has occured...Jude now will happily go into his pack'n play and take, drum roll please, naps! They are short, but I'll take them.
