Mariposa

After cleaning up from our camping trip we headed to the Mariposa Folk Festival in Orillia. Rob and Ashley took the kids for a few days - thanks guys! We camped at the festival for a few days and then picked up the kids so they could enjoy the festival on Sunday. The Bicks and the Weenings were there to enjoy some great music outside by the waterfront. Amazing time as usual! Good to see Ang, Al and the kids, but it all ended way to soon. Until next year...

Awenda

As soon as school was out we headed to Awenda Provincial Park. Pete and Devon were visiting from Vancouver and joined us in our camping adventure. Camping without diapers is really fun and freeing, although the many, many, many trips to the bathroom were a little tiring. The boys had a great time and us adults actually managed to have some hang out time.

Summer Weather Fun

Amidst the craziness that is the end of the school year (report cards, graduation, class trips, special assemblies, etc.) we were finally able to enjoy some warm weather. We visited a very sketchy and run down mini put with the Weenings, the kids did not seem to mind that the place was in shambles. T-ball season also started, this time River could participate. Kurt has fun coaching these 3 and 4 year olds, and they love having Dad as their coach.

March Break

So, since I have been absent since January (life caught up with me....) I will post a series of blog updates. Danielle, this is specifically for you since I appreciate your posts so much and miss you guys like crazy!

These pics are from March Break. My family came to visit for a few days to experience our epic snow. We hiked, got lost in waist deep snow, made an amazing time, and just enjoyed hanging out with my folks and sister.
