SPRING

Finally, the rain has come (not snow, not snrian, or someother horrible hybrid of rain and snow). And, the sun had decided to shine today - hooray. All this means Jude gets to don a rainsuit that is several sizes too big (but does the very important job of keeping the mud at bay) and his froggy rainboots and play play play, yay!

Easter in K town

We had our first long trip with both boys, leaving at bed time so they would both sleep and we can miss rush hour through Toronto. It actually worked out pretty well! We had a great time seeing family, and Jude loved all the attention.River did too but he is not as expressive about it yet. Even though the weather was kind ofcrummy, there were a few sunny patches in there and we got to muck about in the creek which Jude was thrilled about. Here are some snapshots from the weekend.

Aunt Naomi was loving her little nephews to bits - and they love her right back! Jude leapt into Naomi's arms every morning and River gave great big grins. Mom and Dad had to fight her for time with them.

It happened...

Spring - 2 photo series

It was so warm and awesome outside yesterday - I think it is actually spring! Jude had tons of fun exploring the flowers that were poking their way through the earth, and loved roaming around the neighborhood. Now if he would just start walking so I don't have such a muddy little guy...He has also loved the increased bird and squirrel activity outside our windows.

Spring makes River smile - even if he doesn't know how awesome a season it is yet!
