Raspberries, Rolling, and Raccoons
Alliteration is irresistible isn't it? I haven't posted in a while, so here are a few updates - all Jude related of course. Turns out when you spend 24/7 with the little guy, he totally becomes your world!
Jude's favourite new thing to do with his mouth is to blow raspberries. He does it all the time and ends up with this froth around his mouth. Makes him look a little rabid - which brings me to the raccoon.
I was surprised to find a raccoon sitting on top of our BBQ peering in our window the other day. I brought Jude to the window to teach him about raccoons. The little guy was equally curious about us and came right up to the window and pressed his little face against the glass. Eventually he wandered away and we went about our business. Later, Jude was happily jumping away in his jolly jumper. I was making faces at Jude and he was giggling and jumping with glee when all of a sudden his face looked stunned, then afraid, and then he started to cry. I turned around and sure enough rocky the raccoon was trying to come into the room again. Turns out Jude is only okay with wildlife if he is in his mommy's arms. Camping should be interesting this summer!
Finally - my mother's day gift. Jude rolled over for the first time last weekend. He makes it look like a lot of work (which I am sure it is for him) and takes a break halfway over to suck his thumb. So cute!
What just happened?
I rolled over and I like it!
p.s. still annoyed that blogger won't post with any of the spacing I use in my edited version, I really do know how to write in paragraphs...
