Overdue Blues
Okay, so I am not exactly blue yet, and only two days overdue. But...mentally I had only prepared up to this point, now I don't know what to do! So, I go in for a non stress test to make sure my little jelly bean is still happy in there (obviously, otherwise he/she would have begun to arrive, unfortunately absolutely nothing is happening in that department). And so I sit and wait, well more like walk a lot and wait...

Hang in there, Nicole! You're such a comfy Mommy that your little kiddie doesn't want to leave just yet! We can't wait to hear the good news of when your bundle of joy arrives! :)
ReplyDeleteThe kids from your class were talking yesterday about how your baby is overdue. They said that as soon as the baby came out, you would give it a late slip to get signed, because you don't like late things!!! (Or maybe you could just e-mail the baby's parents, might be easier than the late slip!) I thought it was cute! They're all thinking about you, and you're a frequent prayer request! I hope you're feeling relaxed and we all can't wait to hear the good news!
ReplyDeletehang in there, nicole!! praying for a healthy birth, all in good time! i shouldn't tell you this, BUT...my sister was almost two weeks overdue with her second child and the baby was 11 lbs!!! nope, shouldn't have told you that :) she did it all natural though, if that is an encouragement to you :)

ReplyDeleteWow, I was just thinking...Nicole should've had her baby by now! Then I remembered you're not on Facebook, so I'd have to check here. I hope that you are keeping occupied, rested, and in good spirits. I can't wait to meet the new little one. I'll keep checking the blog, I'll also be in Bondhead for the holidays. Who knows, maybe by then we will be able to sit for tea with the baby. Take care!
